Does giving a used video game consol as a gift look cheesy, I’m thinking of giving a ps2 to my little cousin but I bought it at gamestop and it’s preowned, No box, What do you think.
He wasn’t asking for it but was thinking for a Christmas gift. he’s 12 yo, I getting a mix of answers, Their family really can’t afford to buy one for him, Just thinking what his parents will think, Thanks all for your input.
Give the gift. I think that if you can afford the used console, then give it. I buy my games used. I still play the older Xbox and buy all of my games at Game Stop or off Ebay. I have only bought 1 new game for it…Madden 2007. I own about 80 or so games. I also let people know to buy me the used games to save the money.

well that depends if its your game and that person really wats it and its not in stores or costs a lot then no but if you want to but a used gamethen you just scrach of the used game mark and if that person asks why its open you can say that you wanted to check if the game is really there and you werent ripped off

Just don’t wrap it and talk to them first. If they are ok with it then I say yes give it to them.

I honestly don’t think it is if one of my friends would want to get me a used PS2 and I didn’t already have one I wouldn’t care if it’s used or new as long as it works.

it might be a good idea to write a little card and tell him though, and say like… u’ve been playing it for a while and decided that you deserve it or something like that.
