Where can I sell and buy used video games OTHER than Gamestop?

by admin on July 28, 2010

Gamestop is a rip-off.
I don’t want to buy it online, I want to go to a store and do it.

I know you said you didn’t want to buy online but if you use Craigslist instead, you can arrange to meet up in person and you’ll get better deals that way too. EB Games was bought out by Gamestop so it’s basically the same thing now.

Gamecrazy (in hollywood video) but they’re going to rip you off too…

No game store gives you what you’d want, if they paid alot for used games they wouldn’t be in buisness very long.

EB Games XD

no but seriously i’m not sure. Gamestop is the only videogame store that i’m aware of. It’s not so much a rip of all the time. I traded in this bag of old games I thought i’d get nothing for and was really just trying to get rid of them and we got around $116. It might ave been higher but i don’t rmember i’ll have to check.

EB Games is another option.

There are a lot of stores that buy and sell used vid games, but they are always a bad deal for the seller of vid games who payed full price for them. I just hang on to my old video games and give them away to the neighbor kids. I figure its almost a complete loss anyway, might as well make some little kids day.

Anyway, thats because I’m a stubborn I don’t sell my used stuff on the internets type of person. Should I want a decent value for my game, the internet is the only real method.

Another good store is Babbage’s, they are a bit cheaper than GameStop and still has the same games they do.

for selling i would say goto a flea market or any video store thats willing to take video games. the only reason why i say flea market because they most likely to give you way more cash than any other store could. for buying id say video game kiosks at malls near you or if your lucky a pure video game store thats not linked as a major company since they usually dont follow compare value pricing and are usually 10$ or 20 $ less than a used game at gamestop/ebgames.

for alternatives you would have to goto retail stores that do used game trade and sales, but they would probably give you the same pricing if your selling and buying

i guess like everyone else is saying sell it online you get way more than other retail stores.
