where is the best place to trade in used video games?

by admin on July 20, 2010

I have some working xbox 360 and ps2 games i dont play anymore. Where is the best place that will trade the most money?

I say eBay, at least there you can set your own price, remember stores are businesses, they want to get the BEST deals, they’ll offer hardly anything for games.

Honestly you’re going to get ripped off no matter what. If you go on eBay or craigslist you’ll get the best deals.

Gamestop! But only if you play your cards right. Keep a lookout for their sales. They recently had one that got you an extra 50% for every game you traded in. (Meaning if a game trades in for $10, they would give you $15.)

And if you want to get a new game they’ll often have trade-in incentives. For example right now you can get an extra 25% trade in credit towards Red Dead Redemption.

Dude, you need to listen to me when I say "DON’T YOU EVER GO TO GAMESTOP OR EB-GAMES".
They are sure to give you peanuts for your games, take it from someone who has worked there.

You’re better off selling your games on http://www.Amazon.com, http://www.HALF.com or http://www.eBay.com. (I personally recommend Amazon or HALF, eBay is sort of a coin toss in the profit turn-over department.)

If it MUST be done in person, then I would recommend http://www.CraigsList.com , just be sure to meet in a public place.
